My guess is no. That’s a pretty detailed article, he clearly had something he wanted to write / someone asked him to write, and Giz is a WAY better avenue than Jalopnik for that post.

Me too. Dennis did a great job. I think his writing was a tad too dry and technical for Gawker. Which is exactly what I liked about it.

I imagine you are, and I’m sorry things are going the way they are. I enjoyed your article. I had heard some time ago that the POP was based on the number of recorded days with similar conditions on which it actually rained. It's interesting to see that observation and conjecture based on experience still figure into it. On the other hand, name me one job where you can be wrong 60% of the time and keep your gig. Of course, Ted Williams was the greatest hitter and he only got on base 40% of the time.

It comes in handy less than it did 15-20 years ago now that lots of stuff is available online, but it is quite handy at Oshkosh since there’s no delay or issues with internet bandwidth.
